Dan Ammann named CEO of GM’s Cruise autonomous driving division

From 1 January 2019, Dan Ammann (pictured) will lead Cruise, the autonomous driving division of GM, following in the footsteps of Kyle Vogt.

Currently, Mr Amman was GM’s second in command behind GM CEO Mary Barra.

News of Mr Amman’s appointment comes at a time of major upheaval at GM, including staff cuts, plant closures and news of discontinued car models.
