Toyota Motor Europe is responsible for sales across Western and Eastern Europe including Russia - as well as Turkey and Israel. Last year over 1 million Toyota and Lexus vehicles were delivered within TME territory of which almost 50% were hybrid. Two thirds of all vehicles sold in Europe are manufactured at our production facilities in France, Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey and United Kingdom.
Toyota has recently announced the expansion of the Light Commercial Vehicle range with the introduction of the PROACE City compact van. PROACE City will join PROACE and Hilux under the new Toyota Professional brand.

Toyota continues to invest in development of plug-in hybrid, battery and hydrogen fuel cell technologies and exciting new models featuring these drivetrains will be arriving in Europe shortly. For now the focus remains on hybrid where mass adoption can deliver more rapid environmental benefits: according to Jato, Toyota is the leading major manufacturer with average, volume weighted CO2 emissions of just 99.9g/km in 2018.
