Arval-Relsa acquires Renting Peru

Vehicle leasing and fleet management group Arval-Relsa has reached an agreement to acquire operational leasing company CIB S.A.C. (Renting Peru) of the Bancolombia group.
The purchase is part of the group's plan to expand its client porfolio, increase the number of vehicles in its fleet, and further strengthen its fleet leasing and management operations in Peru as well as Chile, and the possibility of other new markets in Latin America.
While Renting Peru has a fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles, Arval-Relsa (in Peru) has a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles.
Established in 2016, Arval-Relsa is a joint venture between France-based Arval and Chile-based Relsa. Relsa is part of a holding of the Yarur family and Arval is a subsidiary of international banking group BNP Paraibas. The latter manages more than 1mn vehicles in 29 markets.
