Sven Kunath move signals customer-focused makeover at Volkswagen Financial Services

Sven Kunath has been appointed Senior Vice President for Direct Fleet at Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS). Previously, he headed Group Fleet International at Volkswagen Group. The appointment is effective from January.

The appointment is part of a reorganisation at VWFS, aimed at offering a better structured, more harmonised, and higher quality level of service to VWFS customers. This will happen according to Customer Groups – not just at company level, but also per country.

Mr Kunath (50) is an Economics graduate with experience in management consulting before joining Volkswagen more than 20 years ago. His career at Volkswagen has focused on Volkswagen car sales to fleet customers at German and Western European level. In his new role at VWFS, he will be responsible for expanding the European fleet business as part of the company’s restructuring according to Customer Groups.
