Arval and Sixt sign strategic partnership

Arval and Sixt have concluded a strategic partnership and will collaborate in all their markets – starting with Germany, France, the Netherlands, the UK and Belgium. The partnership is planned to be operationally launched in early 2021.

Arval, a European leader in full-service leasing and mobility solutions with more than 1,3 million vehicles managed across the globe, is partnering with Sixt, a global provider of car rental and flexible mobility services in more than 100 countries across the globe.

International dimension
The collaboration will allow Arval to offer the employees of its corporate clients and partner companies access to Sixt’s products and network. Arval’s new mobility offering will therefore include not only its own long-and mid-term rental products, but also Sixt’s products, in both a local and international dimension, via Arval’s own online and mobile channels.

As the corresponding part of the agreement, Sixt will be one of the preferred suppliers for Arval’s replacement business. In future, joint clients will be able to benefit from the complementary services offered by both companies.

“Strong partnerships”
Comments Alain Van Groenendael (pictured left), Arval Chairman and CEO: “Early October, we launched Arval’s new five-year strategic plan, Arval Beyond. With this new plan, we are convinced that offering 360° mobility services to our clients and building strong partnerships with key actors is essential. In Sixt, we see a solid group with a unique digital offer, and they stand out for the excellence of their offers and innovations.”

“Leveraging on our respective strengths, we will be able to develop our businesses, and offer our clients a comprehensive range of services for the years to come in our key markets in Europe.”

“Impressive growth”
Konstantin Sixt (pictured right), Chief Sales Officer at Sixt SE, adds: “Arval is a notable success story with an impressive growth track record over the last five years. Arval and Sixt are convinced that the future of mobility lies in offering our clients a broad range of mobility options, rather than just one single product.”

“Sixt sees the current crisis as an opportunity to set the course to emerge from it even stronger. This includes strong partnerships, and this is why we are really happy to enter into this new relationship with Arval.”

Both companies are also present in the programme of the Fleet Europe Summit 2020 on 17 and 18 November. Discover the programme and register today
