ARVAL, Element Fleet Management, and Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Announce Tri-Party Agreement for Expanding Asia Pacific Footprint

Arval, Element Fleet Management, and Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service have signed a new tri-party agreement, expanding their geographical coverage and scope in the Asia Pacific region. The agreement, facilitated through the Element-Arval Global Alliance, establishes a framework for servicing Japan, Thailand, India, and Indonesia.

Lease, Fleet Management & Expertise

The strategic cooperation agreement aims to provide enhanced access to full-service lease and fleet management services for global clients in the mentioned markets through Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service (SMAS). Furthermore, the agreement highlights the shared commitment of the three companies to guide clients towards sustainable fleets and assist them in achieving their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. Clients in the Asia-Pacific region will benefit from expert advice on fleet electrification and mobility in the ever-changing landscape.

With a combined management of 4.4 million vehicles and operations in 56 countries across five continents, the Alliance, consisting of nine member organizations, including Arval, Element, and SMAS, aims to drive sustainable growth and create lasting value for global clients.
