Cox Automotive launches mobility division

Multinational automotive services company Cox Automotive has launched a new mobility division aimed at providing commercial services to vehicle manufacturers, dealers, and fleet operators, according to a company release.

The mobility arm will offer fleet management and operation expertise by way of FleetMaster and EV battery solutions and emerging ventures by way of Spiers New Technologies, two companies the Cox Automotive group acquired in 2021.

The new mobility unit will be headed by Joe George as president while Paul Humphreys has been appointed Managing Director.

Cox Automotive Mobility will initially operate in North America and Europe, but it intends to eventually expand to other regions.
