Global Fleet Summit 2024 will feature all-female executive panel

The theme of this year’s Global Fleet Summit (13-15 May in Cascais) is ‘The Road to Real Sustainability’. Among the many highlights, a first: an all-female executive panel.

Every day, the world’s chief-level fleet and mobility executives deal with the major trends transforming their industry. Once a year, they gather to discuss those trends, present and future, with their peers and with industry experts.

This is the Global Fleet Summit, a learning and networking event with a worldwide appeal second to none. This year, it returns to its familiar surroundings in the Portuguese coastal resort of Cascais, close to Lisbon. The theme is the one that is top of mind across the entire fleet and mobility ecosystem: ‘The

Road to Real Sustainability’.

Why ‘real’ sustainability? Because it’s about actually making a meaningful difference, about ‘walking the talk’, as they say. This can only be achieved by making smart decisions at every stage of your corporate vehicle’s lifecycle: not just its production and use, but also the end of its first life, and the preparation for its future lives.

Regional dynamics

That’s a broad perspective, and it requires an equally sweeping strategy, one that considers regional dynamics and local market dynamics. This means you need precise and actionable insights in terms of greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting. It also means that often, you must reach for solutions that go beyond EVs.
Getting those insights and finding those solutions, that is the ‘road’ to which the conference title refers. Throughout the Global Fleet Summit, highly regarded international fleet managers, members of the Global Fleet Managers Club, and executives of key global fleet and mobility suppliers will share expertise, thought leadership and best practices.

100% female

As per tradition, the Global Fleet Summit will close with an executive panel at the end of the second conference day (14 May). In a reversal of tradition, and for the first time ever, that panel will be 100% female. Have already confirmed:

  • Annie Pin, Chief Commercial Officer, Ayvens (left on the picture)
  • Julie Meynard, Head of International Business Office, Arval (second from left)
  • Laura Jozwiak, Chief Client Officer, Wheels (second from right)
  • Tori Patrick, Vice President Rental Operations Europe, Enterprise Mobility (right)

The panel will discuss with other industry leaders how sustainable leasing and fleet management can contribute to future success.

An all-female panel is a good way to underline the increasing importance, in our industry and across society as a whole, of gender balance, and it rhymes with our Inspiring Women in Fleet (IWIF) initiative, launched at the 2022 Fleet Europe Summit in Dublin, which will have its fifth meeting at the Global Fleet Summit 2024 on 14 May.
