Fleet LatAm Conference 2019, Who will be there?

Fleet LatAm Conference 2019 taking place at the JW Marriott hotel in Mexico City in September will bring together fleet & mobility leaders with international and Latam responsibilities, and here are some of the industry experts and speakers you can expect to see there.
The event will kick off on 23 September with an Opening by Fleet LatAm Advisory Board Chairman *Pascal Serres and Global Fleet Chief Editor Steven Schoefs as well as a Keynote on technology and enhancing safety by AB InBev Vice President of Logistics (Middle Americas) Adriano Polcaro Negrao.

The evening will wrap up with a Cocktail Reception and then four strategic sessions are planned on 24 September. They are Internationalising Your Fleet, Making Fleet Safety Your No. 1 Priority, Connected Fleet, and Global Trends Impacting Latin America.

Internationalising Your Fleet

The first session will start off with case studies by three fleet managers, *Kevin Kibilds from MSD, Andres Arias from Neoris/Cemex, and Alberto Arellano from Nestlé. Benchmarking will also be discussed by LeasePlan Mexico CEO Regina Granados, and Willis Towers Watson compensation benefit consultant Javier Brassel. 

Finally, Fleet LatAm Editor *Daniel Bland will moderate a roundtable with OEM’s. Joining the talks will be Volvo Cars Managing Director (Mexico) Raymundo Cavazos, Volkswagen Fleet & Distribution Manager (Mexico) Angelica Martinez, and Renault Sales & Client Satisfaction Director (Latin America) *Jean-Michel Ferrand.


Fleet Safety, Your No. 1 Priority

This session will start with an overview of the fleet safety scenario in Latin America, presented by Fleet LatAm Head of Training *Jose Luis Criado, and CEPA Mobility Care Founder & Board Chairman *Fernando Cammarota.


Case studies on safety will also be presented by Teva Pharmaceuticals Fleet Manager and Mexico Fleet Manager Association AMAFA president *Jaime Bringas, as well as PMI Corporate Security Director Mauricio Acevedo.

Pascal Serres with also lead a discussion on corporate fleet insurance with the help of AXA Partnership Deputy Director Eric Pulido, Arval Global Business Development Director (Latin America) *Ricardo de Bolle, and TIP Mexico CEO *Mauricio Medina.


Connected Fleet

Directly after a break for lunch and networking will be two talks. Steven Schoefs will lead one addressing the benefits of connected cars, joined by Geotab Associate VP (Latin America & Global) *Carlos Castillo and Galooli CEO *Ronel Barel.

The second discussion will be about implementing technology in your fleet. It will be led by Pascal Serres and supported by Element Fleet Management VP (Mexico) *David Madrigal, and MiX Telematics VP (Latin America) Michael Geffroy along with two customers, being Alfredo Luna Leon of Linde and Geronimo Rivera Gamba of Unilever. 


Global Trends impacting Latin America

The conference will wrap up with two more discussions about what we can expect in Latin America’s future. Pascal Serres will lead one talk about the future of mobility management, joined by ALD Automotive Regional Director (Latin America) *Kent Bjertrup, and Uber Corporate Sales Director Phil Chavez. 

The other will address the changing role of the fleet manager where Steven Schoefs will be discussing the matter with Deloitte Fleet and Procurement manager and Board Member of NAFA fleet management association David Hayward.

The conference will be wrapped up with an overview of the lessons learned and an official closing.
