Save the date: Fleet LatAm 2020 Conference goes virtual on 29-30 September

Geotab and Fleet LatAm are joining forces to organise the second Fleet LatAm Conference, which will be held 100% online on 29 and 30 September. This conference gives international and regional fleet and mobility managers the solutions to stimulate their business in the New Normal and the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations and practices in Latin American fleets. So save the date!

The event is free of charge. More details, and registration information will be revealed as they become available, at: www.fleetlatam.com

Last year’s Fleet LatAm Conference in Mexico City was the first international conference for Fleet & Mobility leaders with a focus on Latin America. With over 200 attendees deep-diving into topics tailored to their interests, meeting with business prospects and learning from experts and peers, it was a resounding success.

This year’s Fleet LatAm Conference is another first: due to the safety concerns and travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it will take place entirely online – an efficient and innovative formula successfully road-tested for the recent Global Fleet Virtual Conference.

The 2020 Fleet LatAm Virtual Conference will take place over two days. Each day will focus on one over-arching topic, essential for fleet and mobility success in the ‘New Normal’.

Safety on 29 September

Safety is a topic of particular interest to Fleet & Mobility professionals in LatAm, with region-specific challenges to road safety, driver safety and vehicle and asset safety. The sanitary concerns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic add another important layer. In a range of webinar presentations, panel discussions and Q&A opportunities, experts and attendees will exchange knowledge and views on the best way to optimise corporate safety in all its aspects in the ‘New Normal’.

Opportunities on 30 September

Any crisis is an opportunity to accelerate innovation, and the current one is no exception. The need for social isolation has variously affected the chances of numerous mobility options – some negatively, others positively. The trends for electrification and smart mobility with the support of connectivity have been boosted by the pandemic. What is the best way for corporate fleet & mobility managers to navigate this terra incognita? Find out the answer via a hand-picked mix of presentations and discussions, by experts and with peers.

The full programme for the Conference is being developed in close collaboration with founding partner Geotab. “At Geotab, telematics data tell us how commercial vehicles in Latin America need to continue on the road to provide essential products and services, with an added complexity these days. The 2020 Fleet LatAm Conference is the virtual meeting point to be able to learn, interact and connect with the experts of the region to prepare for the New Normal,” says Carlos Castillo, Associate Vice President Fleet Management at Geotab.

Meeting and Networking

The Fleet LatAm Conference event app lets participants easily interact with each other and with speakers. The app includes all practical details and it also gives access to virtual expert meetings. Conference participants can also use the event app to set up speed dating opportunities with our experts and industry leaders.
