Swiss Re, Jooycar partner to optimize fleet operations in Mexico

Swiss insurance company Swiss Re and Chile-based InsurTech Jooycar have partnered up in Mexico to optimize automobile insurance for small and medium-sized fleets in the country through telematics.

The alliance aims to reduce operating expenses and achieve greater efficiency and safety in fleet by taking advantage of real-time telematics and IoT technology as well as pushing for the adoption of good driving habits.

With the support of Jooycar GPS tracking solution Fleetr, the partnership involves identifying and repairing risk as well as predicting and preventing them by having strong support and actuarial analysis from one of the largest reinsurers in the world.

The service, which has been offered in the United States for over a year now, boasts more than 6,000 cars connected, FinTech Global reported.
