Europcar expands its Australian fleet

Europcar Mobility Group Australia enlarged its fleet by adding new IVECO Daily vehicles. The vehicles include 150 vans and 45 Pantech-bodied cab chassis. 

Europcar plans to add 241 vehicles to the Australian fleet in the first half of 2022. This expanded fleet will help Europcar deliver services across Australia and enhance its presence in the commercial vehicle market. 

Expansion through cost optimization

The Daily 35S vans gives Europcar the ability to offer a larger cargo load with 12 cubic metre cargo space. The Pantera body light cab chassis models (45C) provide easy loading and unloading via a rear tail lifter. Europcar also prefers daily models because they are designed with the highest safety standards. 

Europcar plans to reduce maintenance costs in the IVECO Daily fleet through longer oil change intervals. The expansion of the commercial vehicle rental industry also reflects Europcar's strategy to rotate the commercial fleet every 36 months.
