Alphabet expands OneNet network into Mexico, Australia, New Zealand

Global business mobility solutions provider Alphabet has expanded its OneNet network into Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand, now present in 36 markets.

Mexico

Alphabet teamed up with local transportation leasing, car and fleet management company TIP Mexico, now jointly providing international customers with vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions in Latin America’s second largest market.

Besides enabling entry into Mexico, the new alliance completes Alphabet’s geographical presence in North America, the company said in a release.

“With TIP Mexico, we have gained a reputable partner who perfectly aligns with local needs and customer preferences, spreading our tailored mobility service,” Alphabet International Chief Sales Officer Susanne Loser (pictured top left) said in the release.

“This collaboration with Alphabet reinforces our growth strategy in the large enterprise segment and expands our horizons beyond the borders of Mexico,” added TIP Mexico General Manager Mauricio Medina (pictured top center).

TIP Mexico has offices in more than 19 Mexican states, boasting the largest fleet of towing assets (15,500+ trailers), and more than 14,000 productive vehicles, providing traditional and leasing solutions, as well as value added services such as fleet management, maintenance, insurance, legal assistance and satellite tracking.

Australia and New Zealand

The company is also collaborating with local fleet management and leasing company FleetPartners, now enabling Alphabet customers with local expertise and an extensive supplier network in the two countries, the release said.

Both business models are well aligned and are keenly focused on facilitating fleet decarbonization and supporting the trend toward greater sustainability.

“Leveraging of global expertise and the joint focus on supporting customers on the journey to carbon zero were key considerations when developing the alliance,” said FleetPartners CEO Damien Berrell. (pictured top right)

“With FleetPartners, we have a great partner by our side, enabling long-term perspective and stability in the markets in Australia and New Zealand,” Ms. Loser added.

Managing some 90,000 vehicles for customers across Australia and New Zealand, FleetPartners is a leading provider of vehicle leasing, fleet management, heavy commercial vehicles, salary packaging, and novated leasing. FleetPartners Group Limited is ASX-listed (FPR).

Headquartered in Munich, Germany, Alphabet – a division of the BMW group - manages a portfolio of around 700,000 leased cars and light commercial vehicles of all makes in a total of 36 countries.
