Cox Automotive launches a synchronised software solutions suite for dealers

Cox Automotive has launched a suite of dealer software, aiming to improve the consumer experience by synchronising marketing, sales, service and operations, boosted by first-party data insights from automotive platforms Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book. 

Through connecting the tools and data insights in different segments of the dealer business, Cox Automotive wants to clear obstacles slowing down operations and increase dealer efficiency, profitability and consumer satisfaction. 

Dealers utilising the solutions of several platforms, including Dealer.com, VinSolutions, Xtime and Dealertrack DMS, have witnessed a remarkable increase in their businesses, including 49% more deals closed and $115,000 additional revenue per month. 

The data-driven new intelligent connections include: 

  • Dealer.com and VinSolutions: providing insights for personalised shopping and identifying potential customers willing to make a purchase.
  • Accelerate My Deal and VinSolutions: easing the deal activity process for customers by managing it entirely on any device.
  • Xtime and Dealer.com: offering intelligent marketing campaigns and flexible service scheduling.
  • Automotive Marketing Platform: higher interaction with customers through automated, one-to-one marketing campaigns.
  • VinSolutions, Xtime and Dealertrack DMS: minimises duplication and offers seamless data flow across departments.
  • Cox Automotive Digital Retailing: offers an individualised buying experience for any consumer, in any way and at any location.

More profit with synchronisation 

Relying on first-party customer data proves to be a good strategy in boosting consumer satisfaction, according to 2021 and 2022 Cox Automotive Car Buyer Journey studies, even in times of supply shortage and surging prices. 

Cox Automotive says the new connected solutions provide a seamless car buying journey for customers and present a competitive advantage for dealers by meeting the evolving demands of the market.
