Brazil’s antitrust agency approves Zetta purchase by Unidas

Brazil’s antitrust agency Cade has approved the purchase of local fleet management firm Zetta Frotas by Brazilian local automobile rental and leasing company Unidas.

The 27mn-real deal (approx. US$5mn) is part of Unidas’ plan to develop a fleet of specialized vehicles (e.g. ambulances, rescue and police vehicles, as well as ICU support units and funeral cars).

According to Fleet LatAm Directory 2020, Unidas holds the largest long-term leasing vehicle fleet in Latin America with more than 85,000 units. Zeta adds some 2,600 units to its fleet.
