Fleet LatAm welcomes AMAVE CEO as newest advisory board member

Liliana Anaya, CEO of AMAVE

Fleet LatAm, the Latin America arm of Global Fleet, has appointed Liliana Anaya, CEO of Mexico’s vehicle leasing association (AMAVE), as her newest Advisory Board member.

With vast experience in the financial and leasing industry, Anaya will play a key role in supporting Fleet LatAm's initiatives to foster business and innovation in Latin America's leasing sectors.

“In Mexico, leasing is emerging as a preference scheme for companies and the government,” Anaya said adding that AMAVE has 319,784 units under leasing by the end of the fourth quarter of 2023.

Of this, 70.5% of the fleet is under a pure leasing scheme and 21% of the fleet is leased by the government, according to Anaya.

Now 17 members strong, the Fleet LatAm Advisory Board focuses on conferences, online events, industry training, as well as communication and networking.
