RDA Renting, Awto kicks off 2020 with new management

Juan Pablo Alvarado has kicked off 2020 as the new CEO of Argentina-based vehicle fleet management company RDA Renting.

Mr. Alvarado, who started in January, has taken over for Arturo Simone who has gone on to be CEO of RDA Renting subsidiary Awto, a car sharing firm focused on regional services in South America.

At the end of 2019, RDA Renting had a fleet of some 11,000 in Argentina and 320 in Uruguay. Awto, which has a partnership with Axion petrol stations, currently serves Argentina but is also seeking coverage in Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia and possibly Brazil.
