RDA Mobility advancing car sharing footprint in Latin American

Argentina based vehicle fleet management and corporate mobility solutions company RDA Mobility is expanding its corporate carsharing solution throughout Latin America

Formerly known as AWTO, the company’s car sharing solution known as Keko has most recently expanded into Colombia, compared to only being in Argentina previously.

This adds to the company’s multitude of services which now includes renting, fleet management, telematics solutions, subscription services, and others, according to RDA Mobility product director Agustín Donadío.

“Although B2C service is in the works, we are pushing solutions for the corporate (B2B) market right now.” Mr. Donadío told Fleet LatAm, the Latin America arm of Global Fleet.

“We are also looking to launch in Mexico and Uruguay soon,” added the executive.

From the reservation to the return and everything in between - including registration, payment, fueling, and the opening and closing of doors, Keko is a 100% contactless service.

Customers reserve a vehicle via a mobile app, selecting to rent it per minute, hour (50km usage), or day (180km). According to the executive, it is a sustainable carsharing program which reduces traffic congestion and CO2 emissions all while requiring low upfront capital investment and reducing residual value risk.

Founded in 2012, RDA Mobility is headquartered in Buenos Aires. It currently has offices in Argentina, Colombia, and Uruguay and is part of the Element-Arval alliance.
