Wheels, Donlen, LeasePlan unite under the name Wheels

Following the previously announced LeasePlan USA and Wheels Donlen merger under Athene, the newly formed fleet management company announced Tuesday (28 February) that they will brand the combined organization under the name of Wheels.

The new Wheels brand builds on the shared history of all three legacy organizations, which together now manage over 800,000 vehicles across North America, as leaders in fleet management and mobility, while leveraging the strong brand recognition of the Wheels name. Each company has many contributions and history within the industry, always putting clients at the heart of everything they do, the company said in a release.

The three companies bring 180+ years of collective fleet management experience under a singular brand.  Although the name Wheels remains, this is a New Wheels that builds upon:

•    Wheels strong, established reputation for reliable service with their history as a pioneer in the fleet leasing and management industry
•    Donlen’s dynamic creativity—the ability to reimagine what’s possible and the ambition to “get it done”
•    LeasePlan’s innovation and passion—a commitment to take the initiative and make a difference for customers

Please note: Wheels CEO Shlomo Crandus will participate in a panel discussion at the Global Fleet Conference 2023 on 16 May in Cascais, Portugal, together with ALD CEO Tim Albertsen, EVP and CCO for Element Fleet Management David Madrigal and Arval CEO and Chairman Alain Van Groenendael.

2022's Global Fleet Conference was a record-breaking sell-out and early indications are this year will be the same. There are early bird discounts available and you can register here
