Volvo XC40 wins Japan's Car of the Year 2018

After the XC60's win in 2017, the Volvo XC40 has won Japan's Car of the Year Award 2018, the first ever back-to-back victory for an importer in Japan.

The XC40 scored 363 points, beating competitors like the Toyota Corolla, Mazda CX-8 and Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross.

The jurors praised the vehicle for its easy-to-handle size, making it perfect for Japanese roads. They also applauded the high quality interior finishings.
