Ford appoints Liz Door to head supply chain
Ford Motor Co. has named Liz Door as its new chief supply chain officer, reporting to Chief Financial Officer John Lawler as of Monday (12 June).
Door comes to Ford from home appliance-maker Whirlpool where she was Executive Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing. Prior to working at Whirlpool for more than 12 years, she worked for General Motors for more than 15 years, her last position being Global Purchasing and Supply Chain Director – Interior.
