Mexico City based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer SEV has kicked off simultaneous operations in six Mexican cities as part of its plan to be present in 16 cities throughout the country by the end of 2023.

The company boasts brand new models such as the E-WAN Cross (subcompact sedan), E-TUS (compact sedan), and E-NAT (SUV) with starting prices of MEX $379,000 (US$21,500), MEX $595,900, and MEX $615,000 respectively.

SEV, which is the EV arm of solar panel manufacturer Solarever, has a goal to achieve 3% market share in Mexico’s automobile industry. “The goal is ambitious, but we have the tools to achieve it,” SEV National Marketing Director Javier López said during a company presentation.
