Used car market sees light in Mexico - Autorola

The used car market in Mexico, according to online vehicle marketing firm Autorola, has been making a comeback in 2H20 despite new vehicle sales struggling in the wake of COVID-19.


Considering all Autorola partner OEM brands (BMW, FCA and Mercedes Benz), sales conversion rates on used cars have been reaching 90% or more since June, considerably more than the 75% conversion rate seen during pre-pandemic times.    According to Autorola, rent-a-car agenices in tourst areas have been seeking to use its remote selling platform to defleet their vehicles into densely populated urban areas.
