PSA’s Luiz Eduardo Pacheco joins Fleet LatAm advisory board

Coming into our final month of the year, Global Fleet would like to welcome Luiz Eduardo Pacheco as a new member of the Fleet LatAm Advisory Board. He is director of corporate and used cars sales at PSA Peugeot Citroën in Latin America.

With 29 years of experience in commerce and marketing, and the last 16 years dedicated to managerial positions in the automotive B2B segment, Renault (2002-10), VW (2010-11) and PSA from 2011, he has held his position as director for nearly four years.

“It’s an honor to be a member of the Fleet LatAm Advisory Board and it will be a pleasure to share my robust experience with all the members. I’m expecting to share knowhow on best practices with this highly professional group and to have productive debates about all B2B related aspects,” says Pacheco.
In Brazil where he is based, the B2B segment represents 33% of the total car market and only 13.5% is in the hands of the five main players.

Following PSA’s four-fold growth in the B2B market in 2017, the group decided to take a break from the segment in 2018 to evaluate the impact of residual values. However, with the 2019 budget now improved, the company has decided to return as an important protagonist.

"This is good news for us. We have a clear strategy with definiative targets (channels, products, clients) and, with the responsibility of residual value impact, we intend to sell two times more than we did in 2017,’’ said Pacheco.

In 2019, the company intends to use its yes-no bidding on deals and to focus on ensuring high profitability for those buying its products.
