Carlos Zarlenga to head GM South America
Carlos Zarlenga will head head General Motors (GM) South America as of April 1st (2019), leading operations in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay e Uruguay.
Mr. Zarlenga, who is currently president of GM Mercosul (Brazil & Argentina), will be reporting to Barry Engle who is executive vice-presdident and president of GMI (General Motors International). Mr. Engle continues reporting to Chairman and global CEO, Mary Barra.
Ernesto Ortiz remains president of GM South America West (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia & Urguay), reporting to Carlos Zarlenga.
