Peugeot seeks Latin America partner

Peugeot is seeking an alliance with another automaker in Latin America, according to CEO Carlos Tavares.

Despite recent statements by the Ford Motor company in a Reuters report, the executive did not confirm Peugeot’s plan to discuss a partnership with the US automaker, according to business news portal iProfesional.

Regardless of who the French firm partners up with, an alliance of this sort would definitely create some waves in the industry.

Meanwhile, to further strengthen its position in the Americas, Peugeot has just announced the opening of its new North American headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
