American Honda Motor appoints Mamadou Diallo Senior VP

American Honda Motor Company has appointed Mamadou Diallo as Senior Vice President, taking over the role from Dave Gardner who will retire on April 1, 2023.

Currently Vice President of Auto Sales, Mr. Diallo will assume full responsibility for both Honda and Acura auto sales, planning, strategy, and logistics, as well as a new product communications division in the United States.

The organizational change is part of Honda’s plan to transform toward an electrified and digital future. "Dave has helped set the direction for our digital and electrified future in the automobile sales area, which will be a major focus of my efforts in this new role," says Mr. Diallo.
