Are American cars truly American?

Only three of the top 10 most American made cars are actually American, according to information from the US federal government.

Based on data from the American Automobile Labeling Act (AALA) which measures the percentage of US/Canada combined parts for cars being marketed in the United States, six are Japanese, one is German and three are American, Car & Driver magazine reported.
