Geotab Teams Up with Greater Than to Boost Fleet Safety with AI-Generated Crash Insights

In a recent announcement, Greater Than, a global provider of driver crash probability and climate impact intelligence, has forged a strategic partnership with Geotab Inc., a global provider of connected transportation solutions. The collaboration aims to provide AI-generated crash probability insights to Geotab's fleet customers, enhancing safety and risk management in the transportation industry.

Greater Than employs artificial intelligence (AI) to transform Geotab's existing GPS driving data into a comprehensive Crash Probability Score. This score is bolstered by a Crash Probability Dashboard, offering real-time dynamic risk insights, and a Crash Probability Tool, serving as an effective driver risk management program with predictive capabilities.

Transforming intelligence into insight

Jim Davis, VP of Insurance at Geotab, emphasised the transformative potential of data intelligence and AI, stating, "Data intelligence and AI have the transformative potential to shape safer, more efficient fleets." He highlighted that the collaboration with Greater Than empowers Geotab customers to proactively assess collision probabilities, providing an opportunity for risk mitigation and potentially preventing injuries, vehicle downtime, and additional costs.

Johanna Forseke, Chief Business Officer at Greater Than, highlighted the industry's shift towards data-driven solutions in driver risk management and motor insurance.
