Burger King USA, Element building nationwide EV fleet

Burger King USA, Element building nationwide EV fleet

With a goal to transition 100% of its corporate fleet to electric vehicles (EV) in partnership with Element Fleet Management, restaurant chain Burger King has announced that 31% of its North American field fleet (in 16 US states) is now EV.

The initiative will lessen the environmental impact of corporate field team members who travel more than 1,500 miles on average per month. Besides achieving a full-electric fleet, the company is also seeking to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030, versus its 2019 baseline.

As Burger King moves further down the road toward a completely electric corporate vehicle fleet, the company will be collecting learnings and feedback from participating field team members so that it can optimize its future plans.
