CalAmp telematics suite includes real-time collision alert

California-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider CalAmp has developed a new suite of telematics services for service, construction and government fleet markets.

Designed to help protect and manage mobile workers, vehicles, mobile assets, tools and cargo, the suite is available as a monthly SaaS subscription. The suite bundles CrashBoxx, Driver Behavior Scorecard and iOn Tag Telematics Services. 

• CrashBoxx provides real-time alerts when a driver is involved in a collision and accurately reconstructs the collision for later investigations and claims processing.
• The Driver Behavior Scorecard produces a comprehensive driver scoring report identifying the need for training, reducing wear and tear, providing details on speeding, braking, hard cornering and other risky behaviours.
• The iOn Tags monitor and protect valuable tools, equipment and other assets, ensuring they are stored at the correct location – or can be found immediately.
