The Smart Cube launches multiple supplier management tool

Enhanced data visibility enables fleet managers to diversify supplier relationships and reduce total cost of ownership

Analytics and research multinational The Smart Cube has launched Smart Fleet, a product that aims to transform how fleet managers engage with suppliers and manage their fleets.

As it is quite normal for companies to have multiple fleet suppliers, and for fleet suppliers to each have a different reporting format, it is also quite normal for fleet managers to collate the information on manually-updated spreadsheets – a system that is as unreliable as it is time-consuming.

Smart Fleet offers a solution: a centralised view of a company fleet that does not depend on the number of suppliers. The cloud-based solution comes with visualisation, analysis and reporting tools on key metrics such as CO2 emissions and average fuel consumption, all aimed at creating better decision-making.

“With the average firm using at least three suppliers, collecting, standardizing, cleansing and visualizing of data has become a fulltime job. Smart Fleet eradicates these challenges, allowing fleet managers to work with as many suppliers as they choose, without worrying about how to consolidate reporting data,” says Joe LaRosa, CPA, MBA, Global Fleet and Business Consultant.

The Smart Cube claims that Smart Fleet users have seen up to 80% reduction in time spent on data management. Smart Fleet is offered on a SaaS basis, available in the US, UK and Europe, and is ideal for fleets of more than 500 vehicles.
