Lyft expanding into Mexico, watch out Uber, Didi
US-based ride hailing giant Lyft has announced plans to expand its services into Mexico, going head-to-head with the current services of Uber and Didi being offered in the country.
Software development teams (approximately 100 team members in total) have already been working in the country since April 2020. The company’s overall goal is to offer viable and affordable mobility alternative such as vehicle, bicycle, and scooter sharing services within cities.

Based out of San Francisco, Lyft (NASDAQ: LYFT) is present in 644 cities throughout the United States and 12 in Canada.
