Transmilenio, Grow Mobility launch Bogota micro-mobility solution

Last-mile mobility group, Grow Mobility, has teamed up with the Transmilenio bus-rapid transit (BRT) system in Bogota, Colombia, to provide its Grin electric scooter sharing services in collaboration with the bus system.

This new integrated intermodal public transport system offers users a way to make their first and last mile trips in an efficient and “green” way. The e-scooters are currently available at eight stations: Portal El Dorado; Modelia, Normandía; Av. Rojas; El Tiempo/Maloka; Salitre/Greco; CAN; Gobernación; and Quinta Paredes.

Totaling more than 114km, the Transmilenio has a very large potential for micro-mobility collaboration. It has nine portals, 143 stations, and 22 parking facilities with a total of 5,260 parking spaces.

The metropolitan region of Bogota is home to approximately 10.2 million residents.
