Rapid transit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Linkee, a new technology company that connects drivers with citizens who need to move around the city, has launched an app for its services in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The company is enticing all local users and drivers to sign up to the Linkee smartphone app, which went live on Monday. Initially, it is only on the Android platform but an iOS version is planned for 2022.

Working collaboratively for mobility

Linkee’s mission includes establishing a collaborative economy and to do that it has built the app to evolve and improve the more it’s used. Users will be invited to provide feedback, share their experiences, create a community and consult with each other to improve their travelling experience. New services will also be added to the platform in the future.

Linkee is being offered free for drivers for the first six months and they will also be free to control their own workload.
