HERE partners with AWS to improve supply chain logistics

Location data and technology platform provider HERE has announced a five-year collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help improve supply chain visibility in transport and logistics (T&L).

From first-to-last mile transportation, visibility is a key priority for logistics and delivery companies who are also particularly keen to optimise fleet routing and more accurately predict estimated times of arrival (ETAs) for parcels.

The agreement means that HERE’s supply chain solutions, that are utilised by transport and logistics companies globally, will be listed in AWS Marketplace, which is a curated digital catalogue that customers can use to source third-party software, data and services to build solutions.

HERE will also work alongside AWS to deliver advanced T&L capability, such as warehouse management, predictive ETA calculations and CO2 fleet emission solutions.
