The worldwide "Connectivity & Convergence" megatrend is one of the key tendencies impacting smart mobility in Latin America right now, LatAm research manager for consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan Yeswant Abhimanyu told Global Fleet in an interview.
According to the consultant, it has pushed a boom in technology innovation, data generation & information flows, new digital touch points, digital journeys and real-time, low-latency communication.

In Latin America, larger cities such as Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City and Sao Paulo already have initiatives which are steering developments in this direction.
