Nike Brazil push EV through DHL, GLP operated facility

Nike is pushing for the usage of electric vehicles in the Brazilian state of São Paulo by way of its solar powered distribution center, operated by international warehousing and distribution company DHL Supply Chain and real estate investment management and logistics firm GLP.

The logistics hub, located in the city of Louveira, has the capacity to generate some 100,000 KWh per month on average and offers a dedicated charging point to support its electric vehicle fleet.

Considered one of the most sustainable storage facilities in Brazil, it will help Nike and DHL reach its sustainable emission reduction targets. Both organizations intend to reduce their carbon footprints to zero in the next few years.
