Join Geotab and Lytx at the Fleet LatAm Vex Conference 2022 on 26 April

Fleet LatAm VEx Conference 2022 taking place on 26 April would not be possible without Founding Partners, this time around being Geotab and Lytx, both global leaders in telematics, connectivity, and analytics.

According to the World Health Organization, road traffic crashes cost most countries some 3% of their gross domestic product so without a doubt, fleet safety and productivity are key. Not only can this be optimized through telematics, they are some of the topics to be discussed at the upcoming event.

Now in its 5th edition, Fleet LatAm Conference is the first and foremost event in Latin America which gathers Fleet & Mobility Leaders who have an international scope or considering one. For more information on the event and to register – for free – visit this page.

Geotab

Toronto-based multinational Geotab is focused on advancing security, connecting commercial vehicles to the internet, and providing web-based analytics to help customers better manage their fleets.

The company has an open platform and Marketplace which allows both small and large businesses to automate operations by integrating vehicle data with their other data assets. As an IoT hub, in-vehicle devices provide additional functionality through IOX Add-Ons.

Processing billions of data points a day, Geotab leverages data analytics and machine learning to help customers improve productivity. Among the company’s goals is to optimize fleets through the reduction of fuel consumption, enhance driver safety, and achieve regulatory compliance worldwide.

According to Sean Killen who is Geotab Vice President for the Latam region, some of the best run large fleets are being executed in Latin America.

“Fleet Managers in the region are global leaders in driving value and ROI from telematics to run fleets at a world class level and they really should take pride in their fleet operations,” said Mr Killen (pictured left).

And for the conference, “besides gaining valuable insight about the region, it is a great way to build international contacts in the Latam fleet and mobility market,” he added.

Since being established in 2000, Geotab Inc. has grown from a small, family business to a global leader in solutions for fleet management and vehicle tracking. Boasted as the first to surpass two million connected vehicles built on a single and open platform, Geotab is one of the largest telematics outfits in the world.

Lytx

As for San Diego-based multinational Lytx, it boasts being the world’s leading provider of video telematics, offering analytics, safety, and productivity solutions for commercial and public sector fleets as well as customized services and programs such as driver safety, risk detection, fleet tracking, compliance, and fuel management.

“Brendan MacKenzie, our CFO, and I look forward to sharing our perspectives on how video telematics and Lytx’s all-in-one fleet management services can contribute to improving safety, security, and productivity,” says Fernando Ferreira (pictured left) who is Lytx Channel Sales Director, Latin America.

Among other things, the company harnesses the power of video to help clients see what happened in the past, manage their operations more efficiently in the present and improve driver behavior to change the future. Moreover, the Lytx Driver Safety Program, powered by its best-in-class DriveCam Event Recorder, has been proven to help save lives and reduce risk.

Using the world’s largest driving database of its kind, along with proprietary machine vision and artificial intelligence technology, Lytx helps protect and connect thousands of fleets and more than one million drivers worldwide.

“As for the Fleet LatAm Conference, I am looking forward to hearing all the different perspectives on safety, security, and cost-efficiency while keeping sustainability a top priority. And, of course, it will be great to meet virtually with everyone involved with the event,” says Mr. Ferreira.
