AT&T, Fleet Complete launch fleet solution services in Mexico

U.S. telecommunications provider AT&T and Canadian-based telematics company Fleet Complete have joined forces in Mexico, now launching vehicle fleet solution services in the country aimed at lowering operational costs and optimizing driver safety.

"We have tremendous experience selling with mobile carriers around the world and we are excited to operate in the Mexican commercial fleet sector together with AT&T, our telecom partner in the U.S." says Fleet Complete founder and CEO Tony Lourakis.

"With AT&T Fleet Complete and our advanced mobile network covering nearly 100 million people, we are enabling smart technologies to maximize the performance of companies…increasing productivity and improving efficiency through rich data," says AT&T Mexico CEO Laurent Therivel.
While the Mexican market has more than 6.5 million commercial vehicles in use, a telematics report by C.J. Driscol & Associates ending in 2017 showed that only 15% of these vehicles had telematics connectivity.
