The goal of international energy company Shell is to meet the world’s growing need for more and cleaner energy solutions in ways that are economically, environmentally and socially responsible.
One way the multinational is doing that in Latin America is by developing more efficient fleet solutions for the Mexican market, a task that has been put into the hands of Hugo Aguilar who is also one of the newest members of the Global Fleet advisory board Latin America.

"I joined Global Fleet advisory board Latin America to expand my network with the Latin American fleet community and to support in driving more innovation into the industry," says Aguilar.

"As for Shell, my goal is to develop a strategic plan to ensure the company meets its objectives, and this includes building a top-notch team which will develop a winning model for the Mexican market," he added.

Some of the main tasks of the executive is to change the fuel payment industry in the region by making it more efficient as well as more enjoyable, and to help Shell achieve a relevant position in the local fleet solutions market within the next 2-3 years.

Currently, the Global Fleet advisory board consists of 28 professionals, including key players from vehicle leasing and fleet management companies, OEMs, consultancy firms, as well as suppliers and fleet managers.
