After one year, Free2Move has 600,000 users

A year after its launch on 2 February 2017, the Free2Move app today has over 30 key partners and 600,000 users worldwide, Free2Move parent PSA Group announced.

The app allows users to identify nearby mobility services (e.g. shared cars, scooters or bikes), compare their features, price and location, and reserve the vehicle of their choice for immediate or later use.   

The Free2Move mobility platform brings together the services of some 30 global operators in 10 countries: the U.S. and Europe's Big Five (UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy), as well as Sweden and Austria, and the most recent additions, Belgium and Portugal. 

Services available via Free2Move include TravelCar, emov, Car2Go,DriveNow and Cambio (for cars); COUP and ZigZag (for scooters); Villo, Bycyklen and NextBike (for bicycles) and UBER, for chauffeur-driven cars (in Berlin only).

Of these, Free2Move operates five car-sharing services itself or in joint venture: TravelCar (France/U.S.), with 1 million users; Koolicar (France), with 350,000 users; emov (Madrid), with 160,000 users; Communauto (Paris/Canada), with 53,000 users; and BlueLy/BlueCub (Bordeaux/Lyon), with 11,000 users.
