Corporate car sales growing in Russia

In the first half-year of 2017 corporate car sales grew by 13,2% compared to same period in 2016 to 82.645 vehicles. This represents 13% of the total new car sales reported the Russian Automotive Market Research.

The most popular models amongst corporate sales were Hyundai Solaris, Lada Largus, Volkswagen Polo, Toyota Camry and Kia Rio.

Best selling premium models are now the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Lexus LX, Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW 5-series and Mercedes-Benz GLS.

Every 3rd car in Russia is Lada

As of july 2017, the Russian car market counts around 42,6 million vehicles. Corporate cars account for 4%, representing 1.65 million vehicles. Lada makes a third of all private cars in use. Apart from 8 Lada models, Toyota Corolla and Ford Foucs also entered the top 10.
Among corporate vehicles in use, Lada accounts for 25%, other Russian brand - UAZ and GAZ (Volga) account for 9% and 8%. Toyota, Ford and Renault are the TOP 3 foreign brand in corporate fleets.

Sedan market

46,6% of the private cars-in-use are sedans in Russia. Followed by 20,4% of Hatchbacks. SUV's now account for 19,9%
