Who are the Fleet Europe Awards 2022 Finalists?
For fleet managers, 2022 has been a breakthrough. Fleet managers were challenged to their limit with prolonging and emerging obstacles while being the pioneers for opening up the space for new trends in mobility and technology. In this year's Fleet Europe Awards, the names who set an example in achieving success in sustainability, efficiency and safety will come onto the stage in another grand gathering, this time in Dublin. Who will be the best in their categories this year? Let's look at the categories and the candidates:
The Awards
Global Fleet Manager of the Year
Establishing a smooth fleet mobility programme, at least in two countries with different cultures, economies and mobility infrastructures, is not easy for a multinational company. This award recognises the fleet manager or the team who established an efficient international fleet management strategy by adapting to new mobility trends and overcoming local obstacles.
European Fleet & Mobility Manager of the Year
Europe has been the heart of many developing mobility trends and electrification and the testing ground for the best fleet strategies to succeed during rising costs and supply chain crises. This reward acknowledges the performance of the fleet manager or the team that stood out in setting efficient supplier management and adopting new mobility solutions while driving the electrification trend in Europe.
European Fleet Procurement Manager of the Year
Procurement processes have been critical in fleet efficiency in 2022, requiring the improvement of procurement policies and a careful pick of supplier selection, as well as managing costs during the supply chain crisis. Fleet Europe presents this reward to the fleet manager or the team that successfully updated their company's vehicle fleet strategy according to market challenges and emerging trends in Europe.
European Green Fleet Manager of the Year
Achieving the zero-emission goal in a fleet is a task aligned with many performance indicators of a fleet and a long one. This reward highlights the performance of the fleet manager or the team that developed a powerful fleet emission strategy based on powertrain selection, new mobility, environment and cost optimisation.
European Smart Mobility Manager of the Year
In a year that traditional commuting methods have faced an uprising from new mobility, fleet managers displayed their skills in innovation. This reward recognises the fleet manager or the team that successfully applied new mobility alternatives into their fleet strategy, reducing their company's carbon footprint and fuel costs while improving employee satisfaction.
European Fleet Safety Manager of the Year
The advances in telematics and electrification have triggered an evolution in fleet safety, offering fleet managers innovative solutions to improve vehicle and driver safety, thus, efficiency. This reward acknowledges the fleet manager or team successfully utilising new safety technologies in their fleet strategy, harmonising with all other performance aspects.
