Your chance to apply for the Fleet Europe Awards 2022

It's time to be proud of your fleet and mobility programme that you implemented as a fleet manager.  Your work in a rapidly changing business environment deserves to be recognized. And there's no better way to achieve that, than to participate in the 2022 Fleet Europe Awards.

Apply before 16 September and send your candidacy dossier by 23 September. 

If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to a jury meeting, which will also take place digitally. No need to worry about travel restrictions, and it also allows you to make more efficient use of your time.

The final jury meeting, where the shortlsted nominees will present their programme to the jury of industry experts, will take place digitally on 19 and 20 October. 

Award Categories

The 2022 Fleet Europe Awards will be presented in 6 categories of which the European Connected Fleets Manager of the Year Award is a new award category. 

Global Fleet Manager of the Year

Step into the footsteps of Jan-Hendrik Rauhut of Bayer, who took home the Global Fleet Manager Award in 2021.

This award goes to the person or team that manages a vehicle fleet on a global level (on at least two continents) that has successfully developed a global fleet approach while taking into account regional differences.

European Fleet and Mobility Manager of the Year

The 2022 European Fleet and Mobility Manager of the Year was Yuliya Lapenkova, Philips

The European Fleet and Mobility Manager of the Year is the person who has deployed a programme that combines the strengths of procurement efficiency and supplier management with the optimisation of vehicle emissions and safety, and the attention for alternative mobility solutions.

European Connected Fleets Manager of the Year

It's the second time we will hand out this award, as we see an increasing interest in and uptake of connected technology and telematics in fleets. Last year, Nikola Vuckovic, PMI was the first one the receive this award. 

This award goes to the most outstanding project on local, regional or international level within or without Europe, in the field of vehicle fleet connectivity and increased fleet efficiency through telematics. 

European Fleet Procurement Manager of the Year

This award went to Adam Longenecker, Zimmer Biomet.

The European Fleet Procurement Manager of the Year Award rewards the person or team within a multinational company that can show a substantial contribution to the company’s fleet strategy in terms of harmonisation, process efficiencies, partner and supplier selection and cost optimisation.

European Green Fleet Manager of the Year

The 2022 European Green Fleet Manager of the Year Award was won by Ricardo Koevoet, ABB.

This award goes to the person or team that can show a clear improvement in the emission strategy of the vehicle fleet, with a focus on vehicle and powertrain selection, fuel efficiency optimisation and innovation in eco-friendliness.

European Smart Mobility Manager of the Year

In 2022, Franz Fehlner, Allianz went home with the European Smart Mobility Manager of the Year Award.

This award goes to the person or team that has developed a strategy for the complete employee community, offering alternative and innovative mobility modes next to the company car. The result is a programme that leads to a more efficient employee mobility.

Awards Ceremony

The 2022 Fleet Europe Awards will be presented on 17 November 2022, the second day of the 2022 Fleet Europe Summit, which will take place in Dublin, Ireland
