First Global Fleet APAC Summit in Singapore postponed to 8 and 9 September

In close collaboration with its partners, Nexus Communication has decided to postpone the first Global Fleet APAC Summit to 8 and 9 September 2020 instead of 7 and 8 April.

Same place, same programme, different dates. We have taken this decision to protect our community, participants, clients and partners from the spreading Coronavirus (Covid 19). This is a self-evident precautionary measure and the only intelligent course of action to take. Indeed, 100% of all business events in Asia are being cancelled at this point. Together with our local partner and with the management of the Regent Hotel where our Summit will take place, we have been assessing the situation every day. It is also in full collaboration with them that this decision has been taken.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) gave its first warning of proliferating pneumonia cases in Wuhan, China, on 31 December. A new virus affecting the respiratory tract that has unfortunately made a large number of victims, almost all in China. Nevertheless, there is concrete hope of eradicating this illness soon.

In the meantime, precautionary measures need to be taken for business travel. The WHO lists its recommendations on its website.

We would like to thank our founding partners, ALD, Connector, Geotab and Nissan as well as our Gold Partners, Octo, Orix, PSA and Volvo for their support in setting up this event.

Let’s meet on 8 and 9 September in Singapore!
