Booster appoints Andrew Hamel as CTO, supporting US fleets

With a focus on digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) for last-mile transportation, US-based mobile energy delivery company Booster has appointed Andrew Hamel as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), now in charge of product engineering and design.

Mr. Hamel, a computer scientist who spent more than a decade as a senior executive for Amazon developing customer experience, digital transformation, and machine-learning strategies for the multinational, comes to Booster from LivePerson where he was executive vice president of operations and emerging AI businesses.

He will be working closely with Senior Director of Engineering John Tokash as well as CEO and founder Frank Mycroft.

Headquartered in San Mateo, California, Booster delivers conventional and renewable fuels directly to fleet vehicles in the US for companies such as Amazon, Imperfect Foods, and UPS.
