Enterprise Holdings arrives in Oman

Enterprise Holdings has arrived in Oman. The world’s largest car rental company is partnering with local company Ayn Zain Global to bring its Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands to the country on the southeastern tip of the Arabian peninsula.

Also involved in the partnership is Al Jomaih Auto Rental (Ajar), the master franchise holder for several countries in the wider Gulf region. Enterprise Holdings already had operations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.

In Oman, the business will operate at three of the country’s main airports: at Muscat (pictured), the capital; Salalah and Duqm.

“Oman is a fast-developing market for both business and leisure travellers from many parts of the world, who want to be able to rent a vehicle from a large, innovative, global organization with a reputation for excellent service and customer care,” said Michail Mavrovitis, Enterprise franchising operations assistant VP.
