Europcar launches range of subscription mobility offers for companies
Businesses are looking for more flexible mobility options as a way to be agile in the face of powertrain evolutions and to cope with uncertainties brought about by the pandemic. To meet this increasing need for flexibility, Europcar Mobility Group now offers three options to businesses.
José Blanco, Group Sales Director, explained: “At the origins of our Group was the vision of its founder Raoul-Louis Mattei: ‘Why own a car when you can rent one whenever you need it? Today, this vision which Europcar Mobility Group was founded upon is more relevant than ever, especially for companies. We believe that the flexibility offered by subscription is a key to success and will be a must have in the New Normal.”
These flexible offerings come in three flavours:
Flex:
- Value for money with flexibility
- Starting at 3 months, monthly rates (degressive based on duration)
SuperFlex:
- The most flexible solution, from 1 month
- No commitment
DuoFlex:
- From 1 month
- Monthly rental + access to a second vehicle every month (total of 4 days in a different category)
- Suited for testing green mobility solutions
Europcar describes these products as alternatives to fixed-term leasing or ownership, offering the convenience of a monthly subscription. Starting with a one-month rental period, any company can then modulate its subscription according to its needs, with no commitment, no upfront payment and no exit fees, with highly flexible terms and conditions. A customer can, for example, start a monthly rental and then change his mind: he will be billed only for real rental days.
Maintenance, insurance and tyres are included in the price and the monthly price is fixed, so companies can control their expenses, with no surprises.
The DuoFlex formula allows companies to access another vehicle for two periods of two days each every month. By subscribing to this formula, a company that uses an electric vehicle for daily trips is then able to switch to a car with an internal combustion engine for longer trips. Another option would be to have a van for every day of the week and switch it for a car at the weekend.
Flex & SuperFlex are now available on the main European countries and DuoFlex will be available in the coming weeks.
