More I.D. with VW Roomzz
Next to its SUV Coupe concept, VW was also eager to present the next addition to the electric I.D family: the Roomzz. China is obviously a great market to present a new EV concept: it’s currently the largest electric vehicle market in the world.
The Roomzz is bigger than its cousin, the Crozz (also with double Z), which was shown to the public first in Los Angeles in 2017. The SUV features 3 rows of seats that can be turned into a lounge configuration. A large, digital glass panel dominates the front of the cabin and appears to be floating – it goes without saying that the latest I.D. addition can be operated autonomously.
Roomzz has a range of 450km, 2 electric engines, simulating 4Motion. VW will start production of Roomzz, Crozz and Compact in 2020, whilst Vizzion and Buzz will debute in 2022.
